jomic views comic book archives, which typically have file names
ending in
cbz
,
cbr
, or
pdf
.
There are several options to improve the experience such a viewing two facing pages at the same time, and reading them from right to left. It supports all image formats for which a Java ImageIO plugin is installed.
Java property file to store the configuration. If this file is missing, Jomic uses an internal default configuration. Upon application exit, this file is updated with the current settings.
Java property file to specify what should be logged. If this file is missing, Jomic uses an internal default configuration for logging.
Remove all files in disk cache and exit.
Open comic previously read when running Jomic the last time. If no comic has ever been read, open a dialog asking for one. If this option is specified together with a file name, open the specified file.
Show a short help text and exit.
Show a summary license and exit.
Show the version number and exit.

Open the comic book located at
~/comics/blah.cbz
and view it.
Open a file dialog asking for a comic book. After one was selected, view it.
